New:Mac Pro
Apple, on the 11 of December released the Mac Pro. This "Pro" really can be if you deck it out to the maximum at a price of $52,499. At the base price of $5,999, this Tower is fairly speced out for a base system this really makes the product feel like a premium product.
The system Looks fairly nice as well with two handles and a rack style case coming out in the near future. And the tower isn't the only pro released on the 11th. The Mac is accompanied by the Pro Display XDR with a 6k resolution.
The Mac Pro at its base is packing an Intel Xeon W series 8 core 3.5 GHz processor with a 24mb cache. This, along with an AMD Rx Pro 580X pack a powerful system when added with 32gb of DDR4 ram packs a powerful punch when you're looking at a video editor. Although it's not necessarily good compared to what the system can be upgraded to.
The maximum Mac Pro has a Massive 1.5 TB. "With 1.5TB, this Mac Pro will be the first computer capable of loading an entire .fcpx file into RAM.
That's a major game-changer considering that the "theoretical" max speed (which no one has ever achieved) of SATA is 6GB but the 2333Mhz RAM on this Mac reports directly to the CPU at a rate of 21Gb/s. No cables, wires, conversion or running through the southbridge should make more apps open instantly."(FQCS[Reddit])
The Mac also contains a 28 core 2.5 processor with a 64mb cache. Paring that with the TWO Radion Pro II Vega Duo, this computer has two of the most powerful GPU ever. this is for Extreme movie making and not for everyday use.

You have a lot of information in this post, but I'm not sure what the purpose of the post is besides reporting on this. Is this a large advance in computer technology? Is it unnecessary? Make sure your purpose is clear.
ReplyDeleteMaybe add more of your opionion. Do you think having this new device is a good thing? There are also some terms that could have been defined (but you could have been delivering this message to an audience who knows more about technology).
ReplyDeleteI think that for a base price of $6,000 you're not going to find a lot of everyday consumers purchasing this computer but I think that if you're a video editor than this is a very good device
